It is said that after facing defeat, the soldiers established the Brahmasthan (a sacred area) and erected a temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati. The locals believe that the soldiers met the goddess here and worship her during the annual Pujas and Aajagare. This site attracts devotees and pilgrims who come to pay their respects and participate in religious ceremonies.
